Sunny day gardening

この連休の予定に組んでいた「種まき」の課題。
無事に終えました。

家の古い鉢やプランターを使おうと、ひとりごしごし。
お天気だから、庭仕事ものんびり、たのしい。

通りかかかった近所のゴールデンレトリバーと
遊びながらの日曜の午後。平和だ～。

ジムに行かない日曜だと、こんな風に使えるのね、
と思ってみたりして。よき汗をかきました。

今年植えたのは・・・・

・スイートバジル
・イタリアンパセリ
・ミント

の3種類のハーブ。

種からまくのは初めてなので、やや心配。
特にバジルは元気に育ってくれないと、
我が家の夏のメニューに響く。

うちの家族は、バジルののったピザや、
自家製のジェノベーゼのパスタが大好きなのだ。
（私も大好き。）

保険をかけて、苗も買ってこようかと考えているけど、
まずは種たちに、元気に芽吹いてほしいと思います。

I planted three kinds of herb seeds today.As I used old planters which got so much dirt
and had to wash them first of all.It took time to finish really planting all seeds though,
it was fun to do slowly and on my pace with playing neigbour's dog in front of my house.

Three herbs which I planted this year are........
-Sweet basil
-Italian parsely
-Mint

Atually, this is the first time to grow some herbs from the seeds.I'm a bit nurveous
if they will show me their cute sprouts.Especially, if  basil is not fine, it will give bad
affect to this summer menu at home.My family like pizza with fresh basil on and pasta
with home made Genovase basil paste very much.

For the insurance, I'm thinking about getting
seedlings though, I hope that they all come out soon very much.
