南の島から from Southern Island

日曜の朝から荷物が届いた。

鹿児島県の徳之島からでした。
誕生日のプレゼントと手紙が。
島で作られてるハンドメイドの雑貨です。
トロピカルでかわいい。

数年前に徳之島出身の男性と突然結婚を決め、
ついに移住を果たした友達（富山県出身）。
４月からの島生活も『異文化に溶け込み』楽しんでいる様子。

お礼の電話がてら、だらだら近況報告と
１歳加齢を進めることへの若干の憂いを明かしつつ、今日は終了。
昔からそうだけど、私の愚痴やくだらない話を大笑いして聞いてくれるのは
いつになっても、どこにいても変わりません。

人生に対して、石橋をたたきまくる私に比べたら
度胸と想いで人はいくらでも成長できるのだと
身をもって教えてくれた貴重な友達のひとり。

『案ずるより産むが易し』の本当の意味を
友達から知ることが年々増えている。

とにかく、私の友達運は最高に良し。
いつもこの時期になると思うことのひとつ。

One parcel was delivered to my home this morning.It was from my friend who lives in the southern island Tokunoshima, Kagoshima pref.There were some birthday gifts and a letter.Those gift were hand made craft and so cute and tropical.It made me warm feelings.

She suddenly decided that she got married to the man who was from this southern island Tokunoshima few years ago.Now she moved to the island and getting used to the new life with different culture.Even though it's in Japan, each part has an original culture and dialect.Especially, where she lives in is tropical area and intriguing place.

She changed nicely and grown through this marrige.I could see her good change and I knew people are able to change and grow anytime if they have a chance.I have some opportunities to know the real meaning of that ''Fear is often worse than the danger itself.''through friends' life.

Always gives me the time to feel I'm blessed with friends and really feel I have a huge luck to have wonderful friends around my birthday.
